With exclusive use of the property your group can give their full focus to both the business agenda and the all important socialising.


The large meeting / dining room comfortably seats up to 34 around a single table, with an adjacent projector screen. In addition we have 4 further "breakout" areas for groups to convene away from the main meeting area (those in need of serious inspiration can even retire to the bar area in what was the old pubic house!). We also provide Free WiFi.

Team building

There are plenty of nearby options to bring the group together ranging from more challenging activities for the team such as Go Ape! just 20 minutes in Buxton through to plenty of stunning walks that are suitable for all levels of fitness.

In house we have a pool table, table football to bring in an element of fun & competition, as well as Karaoke to produce some memorable duets!


The character of the Grade II listed 17th Century residence is blended with a high standard of finish throughout the property including quartz work surfaces in the kitchen, leather sofas & oak chairs. All 13 bedrooms are en suite and feature soft linens & towels.

The property can accommodate anything from 13 (single occupancy) through to 34 with no bed shares.


The property is a self catering venue, and makes for a very special team building atmosphere compared to the usual hotel / conference venue option. Indeed we find many groups enjoy the experience of taking it in turns to cater for their colleagues (deliveries can be easily arranged from Tesco, ASDA, & Waitrose). Outside Catering options include simple “drop offs” of pre-cooked meals / sandwiches, though to provision of chef & waiters.
